-'static'-
"ANDERSON DO YOU COPY.. **** ANDERSON PLEASE REPLY-DID THE JETPACK IDEA WORK?"
-'screaming'-
"Let it go private...hes gone"
"Only a few of our men remain on this ship, the kaharra have destroyed most of them and are continually spreading."
"Input the lockdown codes, and activate the distress beacon, we must cut our loses. Hopefully the kaharra won't be able to get through."
"Roger sir"
Sargent Lipton sighed as several rows of Titanium doors began to slide down with irritating red flashing lights rotating above.
"It wont be long before they make it past, I don't think there is anything we can do" thought the sargent as he walked back to the secondary base.
<span style='font-size:14pt;line-height:100%'><span style='color:blue'>Several months before lockdown</span></span>
"It's ok sweetie, we will see you soon" said a mother, comforting her son Gus.
"The ship will travel for several months, but it be nothing at all for you in your pod, don't worry" said the father with his had resting over the mothers shoulder
"ok mommy,I'll see you later" said Gus, beaming a smile.
-By now the Cryo-pods doors had been closing over Gus and the hybernation process had begun-Gus had already faded away in the now blue smoke filled pod.
-The colony ship Gus was onboard was slowly making its course towards another uncharted territory. On the bright side many on earth had appladed the colony ships courage, as the ongoing war with the Kaharra had put an almost permanent stop to interstellar expansion. In fact, at this point in the war the two sides had finally become balanced with the TSA's technology reaching a point that it could effectivly combat the Kaharra.
-However, many citizens were less aware of exactly how agressive the Kaharra were due to corporate coverups, and because of this colony ships such as Atarus foolishly trod on into open space-easy prey for Kaharra.

-Gus awoke slowly over the moist air and sounds. Confused he pushed the doors of his pod slowly open with his hands. With the effects of hibernation still in him and the blue mist surrounding him he wearily pulled himself out of his pod, noticing how soft the ground was compared to the normally hard, noisy steel floors. In fact something was very different about his surroundings.
-The Blue mist began to clear and Gus noticed in shock the earthy natural growth that almost encompased the whole room from the bottom floor up<span style='color:red'>(authors note-hibernation bay looks kinda like a prision- with two floors.hard to describe). </span>A heavy beat played into his mind, almost stunning him. His mind was aching with pain he stumbled around with his hands clasping his forehead in pain. He immediatly knew for some reason that something was wrong.
-As he leaned on a railing outside of his pod he could see in the corner of his eye 2 black armored figures walking slowly up two him with weapons raised
-"What the hell is that one doing outside of its hibernation pod. **** man, I don't like this, I thought there would be no complications"
-"Shutup man, we got a job to do, you heard the Lieutenant, lets burn it"-
-One of black suits raised its weapons, a black bubbling ooze was slowly seeping from its barrel. The other suit quickly hit down the others weapon and began yelling at the other..something to do with it being a child.
-The suit with the ooze weapon didn't bother to argue and shot out a blast of black tar at his partner, the tar quickly burned right through the others suit, and his flesh literally continualy melted down with his suit. Without even a faint scream from the man most of his body had been melted into the floor.
-Gus didn't even look back to see what had happened. He ran to the end of his sides catwalk and shut himself inside a small security room with a thick steel door and viewing glass. Then backed up against the wall and slowly slid down the wall, staring at the doors viewing glass in horror.
Gus's head began throbbing again...slowly beating deeply.
The man's head appeared in the tiny window, sweat was beading his face.
-"better come out"-he said smiling with yellowed teeth. Dissapering from the viewing glass
Gus could hear the man's weapon go off, and the door in front of him began to glow a deep red. The room started to bake in the heat, and Gus's head began throbbing even more with a horrible pain.
-"heh heh heh howsit feelin in there. Heheheheheh"-
Everything was horrible, Gus could only curl up and cry with the immense heat inside the room and the horrible pounding on his brain.
'chuckle'
"what was that"
'chuuuuckle'
"ohhh sssshhhhhhiiii"
"AHHHH"'rip'"AHHRGG"'rip'"AHHrrgggg....."
Gus could't focus long enough to see what had happened..the heat and pounding were still there..he fell unconsious.
btw dont worry, i dont expect this story to die- im just very busy with exams
ill prolly post next week
oh and btw, I will continue my old story Research Facility TNF, ive got it saved up for later
good story so far, but i'm not too sure about tar being able to heat up metal
Also, due to the immense amount of damage, weight capacityand pressure power required for the tanks, their suits had to focus on maintaining the weapon and allow the user to lug a big A$$ tank on their back. Think HA legs and sholder straps, firemans suit upperbody.
I figured that having a napalm guy for a corp to use would be good, as the napalm would pretty much annihilate any kaharras body but only slightly melt/deform the futuristic super heavy metal. + stick some napalm on a hive or an onos and itl do the job by itself by never stopping=regen wont be able to stop it.

He noticed that he was still in the security room, except something was different, the room was covered with the same growth as before and the door that was closed before had a gapeing hole through its middle from top to bottom.
He tried to get up, but he was being held by something..
"holy crap" Gus cried out as he relized that the earthy green stuff on the wall had grown over most of his body and he was stuck into the floor. While he stuggled against his bindings he felt a sharp pain in his left shoulder, something was moving next to him. When he turned his head to see, he saw a fat, short looking alien with spikes on its back, one of the spikes had blood on it from hitting his shoulder.
Gus stared at the beast motionlessly, so confused and shocked as to what to do. It finally noticed Gus and turned its head at him, it had a weird head with a long tongue and yellow eyes. The creature grunted a few times and waddled up to Gus and shot siliva out of its mouth, covering his shoulder with spray.
Gus tried to raise his arms up to block the spray but was being restrainted by the growth. He felt so helpless and frustrated at his situation, and began to cry in fear and pain, as it felt like the spit was burning his skin. However, he noticed that the pain in his shoulder was gone and upon looking over couldnt see the wound anymore.
The pain began to grow on his body, and the fat creature began to shoot out more siliva on his him, only increasing the horrible burning feeling on his skin. Soon however, the thumping on his brain began again,and he could feel the pulsating beat spread across him until his entire brain was beating in pain. The growth was spreading too, as small rivers of green spread past his neck and over his face, expanding and thickening.
The growth continued to spread over his face until he became blind with the facemask, but he could almost feel a beat of happiness given off by the fat creature near him.
Gus began to panic even more, he knew the growth was going to kill him as it had covered his mouth and began to grow down his throat. He tried to puke or choke, but was unable to even breathe as his neck became clogged with the green growth. The growth had even begun to reach his lungs.
With no oxygen Gus finally faded out and lost consciousness again.
And Gus died..THE END

I just dont have much time for Fan Fics-i usually do them when I am bored-But dont worry ill post another soon
also much of the delay comes from me not knowing how to make the bridge into my plot ideas.
the two guys were both [ ] marines, and basically one of them didnt want to kill gus-the other one did want to kill gus so the more bloodthirsty of the two torched his buddy.
