Multiplayer WITHOUT 4 GBA's (Nice Pic!)
This is one of the things that annoyed me about
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for the GameCube.
In order to have 2 or more players, you had to have
2 or more GameBoy Advances connected to the GameCube.

I was impressed to see someone had found a rather
complicated work-a-round.

Link each of these 4 GCs (using GBA link cables) to the main GC, and plug each of these 4 GCs into its own small tv.

Awesome, but a wiring nightmare, and most likely, damn expensive to do..... Unless you can convince ya mates to bring not only a GC, but a TV round aswell.....

This is what I did for the first month my roommate and I had FF:CC. He and his brother had SPs and he had a GBA for our friend, but I didn't have one yet. However...
    1) He and I both own Gamecubes
    2) He had just bought a GB Player for his
    3) My parents had given me a new TV for Christmas, which meant I had a spare one sitting in the basement.

It was actually *very* convenient when I was the one with the map... everyone could see where we were at a glance. ^^

But then bacon_flaps hooked me up with a GBA of my very own. It's much more convenient, really. And frankly, probably a bit less expensive. ^^ (GC + GBP = $200, GBA SP = $100)

I just need to find a way to play it without four gamer friends. ):<

Am I the only person in the world who never meets anyone interested in gaming? If I go out onto the street and pick four random people, I'd end up with four luddites. Then they would stab me, and do the luddite dance.

    i agree

most of my real friends have PS2s and Xboxes, and only one of them has a GC.
and only one of them plays PC stuff of any kind

Its not much of a work around.. I mean, first of all its more expensive. Sorry, I'd rather buy a GBA or SP than a GC, GBP and a TV... along with any extra wires required to get that all working.
I find usually work arounds should show positive gain of some sorts... This one doesn't.. it shows loss..

I really don't see why the 1 gba per person for FF:CC is so bad. Seriously, GBAs and SPs are the most wide selling system of the current systems out there. Its easy to find 4 people with GBAs.. Probably easier than finding 1 with a GC, considering how much the GBA outsells the GC.. and everything else.

The pay off comes later, with Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. FF:CC is just an inbetween for me.
