System Crash

<div class="IPBDescription">effecting more than just the game...</div> okay, whenever i play NS on steam, the program crashes, not all the time, but randomly. and sometimes even, my entire computer will crash. now this only happens when im playing games, and ive found the files that cause the problem(deleting them dosent work)
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini051404-02.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

I have an XP system with a Geforce3, 512 ram..etc, standard computer really, but this is REALLY annoying. oh btw, another file that occationaly involved in the PROGRAM crashing, not the syste,, is a "appcombat.txt" file. PLEASE if anyone knows HELP ME!

    i'll hop on google in a minute, but that starts alarm bells ringing - have you done a full virus scan with up-to-date definitions recently?

    Hey, i think i found the problem, it has to do with the system memory dump, i found a site to fiz it, i just hope it works, thanks though anyway <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
