Actually, I dont' know what I'm complaining about - I used this model in CS for a long time.
it means it will only be available at T2K, and [ZAPR]The Thing's personal website...
Just staying competitive vs other sites really.

Note the difference between "service" and "product." There is a legal <i>and</i> moral difference.
If a clan decides to put a "donate" link on their own site, what are they trying to make a "profit" on?
I think, in this case, the word "exclusive" is being used amicably, not competitively. The model's author chooses a host and would like it to stay on that host so he can keep track of it. Granted, yes, it is only a conversion, but still.
Think of it in those terms in the future. It's not so either NSA or T2K is seen as being "better". They're both basically providing the same service to the same community. They each have models that the other doesn't.
Big deal.
Neither of them thinks of themselves as being some big multinational corporation with uber-secret R&D labs to protect. The ones that seem to be raising such a fuss about "exclusives" are the users more than the providers, who would very much like to keep it amiable.
