ok, here is my story totell yalls that allien strucs WORK
ok story start: I had just about gotten our second hive up when our first hive goes down, and all aliens die, so no hive, no respawn, its just me (and it was 3 V 6 before)
then all of my team mates leave or switch, so its 1 v 7 no one hive ABOUT to come up BLECH
so I get my hive up, a few ppl switch (made teams even) and I had already started my defense I simply built ### loads of off chambers and surounded them with deff chambers (spaced so that no more than three over laped)
well I started getting marine attacks, the managed to take out one offence chaber (I had placed them badly so that one one was able to fire through the door)
well with the help of my deff chabers and ONE turret I snoted about 5 marines (they came in 2s generaly PS the DID have atleast 2 nade launchers)
I then got some breathing space and got up 2 more turrets that could fire at them as they came in, so no it came down to trying to move out and cap a recource nozel like 20 ft from base (was fairly hard b/c I had to keep running back to my deff chamber untill I got a second bacth up with the tower and its off chambers)
I basicaly held this base as the rest of my team did other stuff, eventualy they got another hive up and then the third, I then started popping around hive filling up all of them with chambers (move chambers are fun)
and started taking aLOT of recoruce nozels, recource nozels are the bet ones to play with webs with, watch a marine with an HMG mow through your 'mates and then hit my webs and then die at the hands of my spit is fn FUN
to sum up, we didn't lose a sing nother hive (thats what I call a come back) and eventualy won
to sum up I LOVE PUDGY!!! (/me looks around for the smack coming from Flay or MonsE) and Gorge is I believe my fav class (I don't like Onos ;D)
Some reasons why aliens are just as good as marines, and how come people are too du...having a hard time learning how to play them. FIRST!!. PLay as a team, its best if you want to win. Second. Most of the aliens are high damage, low hp. Be sneaky, and ambush. Third, Offensive chambers are godly with damage if you are smart enough to lay some webs, or if you are tricky with them. I went 30-5 last game. AS A SKULK!!!. I only upgraded my cloacking and my carapace. That was it. And I mowed marines by droping down on top of them in processing again and again.
Not knowing the map is the biggest disadvantage right now to alien plays, but hey, if you use your hivesight then you can figure it out in at most a few minutes.
Note: No we did not win my 30-5 game, because noone would attack in force. But attacking in force and using strategy can make the aliens gods.
listen boy, the last game i played i was a marine and we were winning so good, but then SUDDENLY 3 nasty big alliens(no onos) just slaugtherd our mane base, killd the commander and destroyed our spawn point... I thought we were winning, but if aliens work together they can win easily...
Human turrent aren't all that strong, as a skulk i was spying into the human base and saw some people loading up on ammo at the armory, so i ran in and two turrets tried to kill me, i moved so fast that they never hit me until i started biting the marine in the bum, by that time i had lunch before i died <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo--> Also since turret track slow and can't aim down more then 30 degrees you could probly get close to one and destroy it fairly easily maybe even as skulk
Ok I haven’t played NS yet (by the time I got home the downloads are up and I am a modem user sigh) but NS sounds allot like Gloom And if in NS has doors placing a heap of turrets behind it so when they open it bam it is like a shot gun insta gib any one tried that

Basically what we did was had a ton of offensive chambers and whatever heals you. Just ran to the marine base, used a bunch of bile bombs, and retreated and healed. I dont know why fam. But that is hilarious. Maybe cause its sooo obvious. The main objective as aliens guys is to get those three hives up. If you can beat the marines with a rush, that is great..but if you can't get those hives up and evolve. If for the abilites if nothing else. Suiciding as a skulk can level troops.
