First thought: OMG Need high quality video *NOW*, this low compression blocky thing hurts my eyes to watch :( :(
Second thought: OMG HL2 looks awesome again. I'm almost as hyped up as I was this time last year. Almost.
Third thought: CS looks great. Too bad I can't stand its gameplay, but man it looks great. I can't wait to play through HL1 w/ the source physics though, that'll pwn.

In CS, the ejection ports are always visible despite whether the player is using right- or left-handed models. I doubt they changed it; if they did, I applaud them for not being bass ackward fools.
I'll probably get it anyway. <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I *need* Half Life 2. Life without it is a pale shadow, an illusion that must be shattered and rendered anew upon the sacrifical alter of reality perception.
What I saw in that terrible quality video was enough to convince me that HL2 is going to be epic. If anyone, *anyone* has a higher quality video of the 2004 E3 footage please put a link up in this thread.
but realism isnt just about graphics, but how you play the game
let's hope they've taken that into consideration <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> it'll take more than fancy graphics for me to go "wow, realism"
Well according to <a href='http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=55530' target='_blank'>This Eurogamer Article</a> is a kinda expansion and the same will happen with the other "Source Capable" games, so I don't thing playing HL on Source will be free.
They'll apparently be set at Budget Level cost and available on Steam which leads me to thing that perhaps this won't just be Half-Life directly ported to Steam, I'm wondering if it'll be remade in places.
But anyway I'd kill for Opposing Force on Source (Well perhaps not kill, but like pay lots of money or something!)
i never finished HL1 or Opposing force OR blue shift this will give me a chance to do so again <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

<b>AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!</b>
But the video compression wasn't <i>that</i> horrid, was it? I thought everything was relatively clear, save for the seizure-inducing parts.
