<div class="IPBDescription">What do you like?</div>Ok, I have put in a few hours into the game trying to be every class possible.  While I still feel that some balancing needs to be done that is for another thread.

First, the graphics are great.   Very top notch stuff with hardly any glitches at all.

Second, aliens are fun as hell to play with.  I love upgradeing speed and flying down corridors.

Third, marines are fun but fairly boring.  If I wanted shooting I would play CS (which I do all the time).

Forth, command mode is stressfull.  I was playing a game tonight and some moron wouldn't give anyone health or ammo so we voted him out.  Noone else took his place so I decided to learn by trial and error.  After about 5 mins I got the hang of it and my team was complimenting me on my good work. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

After I we finished the round (we won) I had to take a couple Advil because I got a headache trying to tell people what to do.

Overall, great job guys.  You should be very proud of your work.  It truely is an amazing peice of software you put together.  Keep up the good work and I know all the kinks will get worked out.

    Yeah, I definitely agree that this is an amazing piece of work, ESCPECIALLY for a first release.  I absolutely love being the aliens, now that I have things figured out a bit (Greedo, your tip on  another thread about not having everyone evolve into Gorge's was one of the most helpful things I've ever read, seriously), and I still love being a skulk after all 5 levels are available.  While i have a few small beefs (balance issues mostly)  I can't wait to go back an play some more.  And that means you guys did something right.

    Skulks.

    Skulks are, without a doubt, so far my favorite thing about this game.

    I die a lot, I don't get that many kills, and I can never tell when I'm hitting anything... but you just can't beat the joy of creeping along the cieling and dropping down on some rambo wannabe right before you tear his head off, or biting the legs off some HA who's too busy shooting at the big bad Fade to notice you.  Get everything cooking and it's even more fun as I get to re-enact my time as a Kamikaze engy on TFC.

    In short I have a blast playing as a Skulk.

    I also love playing as the Gorge since it reminds me of my Engy days with TFC (though no equivalent to Kamikaze-EMP)

    My favorite thing to do is watching marines squirm, even ones fully decked out in HA and HMG.  They think they're all that, until I drop out of the shadows and make a few well placed chomps, only to disapear into a nearby vent.  As my stalking skills get better, I can really do some damage.

    Taking orders from a commander is fun.  There's that tension you get when the commander has ordered you into an area that you haven't secured or explored yet.  It's assauged only a little by your teammates accompanying you.  Then again, there's a nagging feeling that the only reason they're there is to bury after you take the first hit.  <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    I haave yet to play marines since i alwasys joined the Kharaa to even out the teams (since everyone kept on joining the dang jarheads to quote MonsE) but I really enjoyed jumping from the ceiling unto unsuspecting marines... Hoowever I found that everytime i evolved to Fade class some marine jockey blew me away with his darn HMG... But overall great game!

    /me goes back to the temple of NS to worship statues of the dev team...

    even though I had buckets full off lag I still tried to play it as best as I could. I loved it and when bugs are sorted you can see a great game here. The animation was fantastic on the resource towers and what not, I played commander mode for 5 minutes and picked it up fairly well and playing as alien was fun.

    Also I think I must have hopped onto a brand-new server for my first game.. and spent about 5 minutes giggling insanely the first time I ran into a pack of LMG toting marines with an Onos


    *Waits in cooridor*
    *Marines come around corner*
    *Marines spot Onos*
    Nameless Marine: OMFG! *marines open up*
    *Onos charges*
    *Various sounds of squishing and general carnage*

    Man that was hilarious.

    Well this one time on Hera was it? I was a lurk and I used UMBRA it seemed to scared the bajeebus out of 2 of 3 marines and they ran... But this last marine with a HMG curse him blew me out of the sky in like 2 seconds...

    itis SUCH a great game... i luv it... played it for 5 hours yesterday.... but almost always had to go alien because of the HMG, Heavy armor dudes... that keeps popping up, because of the lack fo cooperation on the alien team (WE DIDNT SMASH THE RESOURCE TOWERS)

    also tried to be commander... KEWL!! I RAH!!! its so MAGNIFICENT!!!!
