    Hehe...the design reminds me of Owen's early work. Not bad, but a bit busy. First, beef up the stock; Make it believable that there's a receiver, chamber, and firing mechanism in there. The LAM...eh...I'm indifferent. Personally, I think the grip was a good length originally, since now it seems a bit too big. That flash supressor could use a bit of work...try using a <a href='http://www.zmweapons.com/images/Flash.jpg' target='_blank'>Phantom Flash Hider</a>. And shrink down the grip, barrel, LAM, and trigger to match the rest of the gun, since the proportions are a bit off (unless it uses .22LR <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->). The gun looks pretty good otherwise (the artistic style--no offense--needs a bit of work, though). It reminds me of the result of crossbreeding between a Bizon, FAMAS, and LR300. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    recon what did i tell you about designing guns!!!

    1. visulize yourself holding and shooting it
    2. dont make the bloody thing too bulky or too tall, balance is key
    3. make it comfortable to use
    4. font on guns IS NOT NEEDED!
    5. compact it for versitility
    6. dont make it look like you plated the thing in metal slabs
    7. make it simple to hold, adjust, reload, ect

    1. recon if u did #1 then your perception of guns is strayed
    2. see how hi from the grips the gun goes, running around with that thing also needs a tight and strong grip, it also looks like it weighs alot
    3. the stock is abrutly flat, the stock is also far away from the gun and it looks front heavy
    4. im pretty sure anyone can look at the laser on the front and figure it out, same goes for the "lmg"
    5. the stock is too long, the clip could be brought in more, the front is too big, the launcher is huge and so is the lam
    6. too many criscrosses with the lines looks like you reinforced it with steel
    7. with a gun forward heavy it wont be fun to carry around and also with the rear feed, nearly imposible to reload, unless you like the barrle pointing at your feet when you reload?

    I dont know if i'm the only one thinking this...but isnt this taking it a bit too far...the idea of a concept is that it is a concept, not that its the real thing.

    The beauty of being able to model for games like half life was the you could be truly unique and take a wild or wacky concept and not worry about something like in real life i wouldnt be able to line my sights up or it looks like it weighs a lot.

    I thought the whole point was that you could do whatever you wanted?

    Alot of concepts that are being made in this "concept craze" have LAMs. I personally think that the lasers dont look good in the v model. The concept is good but it doesnt really have a place for the LAM. The Lam seems to just take up space on the model.

    i like it... i would rather have that one than the one we got today

    btw does anyone know y theres a scope on the dam thing if ya cant use it...? (i can imagine useing it to inspect long hallways and maybe be able to spot cloaked aliens near lights, but nobody wants it to become a snipe rifle!)

    there is rumour flying around that later on, one of the updates will allow you to use it.

    other's say it was in the early days of ns, but due to the nature of the maps it proved a fruitless utility, so they scraped you from using it but kept it on for looks.

    ps. twiggy's version is better, now for the complaints on the clip, curve it!

    Nice...i can see the animations now...u can do the cool flip the gun upside and wham a clip in from the side...like the desert eagle in TS
