Install error

    Sorry to hear about your problems. I think the only solution to this would be to redownload.

    Uhhh ohhh... that sounds bad.

    Usually install files have self-checking thingies that allow them to verify that the install file isn't corrupt. One of the ways it does that is to compare the file size that the installer expects to be (that is, what the file size was when the installer was compiled) and what the file size actually is on your computer. If they are different that probably means that there was an error in downloading.

    I had this problem to start with, but luckily it had only got to 42mb so I knew it was wrong.

    My guess is that the -source- of the file isn't the problem.  Were you doing something while the file was downloading that could have screwed with it?

    okay not so much an install error but an unistall error. i had some problems with ns when i first installed it. whenever i would leave a server it would go into a non responsive stae, thus taking me a minute or so to leave the game. plus once i left a server i could not join again or join another server. i was wondering if anyone can help me there

    then what i did was reinstall before uninstalling. now after that the game still acted the same way. so i uninstalled only to find that it still shows up as a program in my control panel. and no matter how many times i remove it, it still shows up. so theres the second problem, to get if off when i uninstall it.
