Another Fps Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">plz help</div> hi i got a massive fps problem because i have to play with 20 fps normally and with many enemies i got 6 fps and thats really hard to play a game with such fps.
my system:
amd 800mhz athlon
512 sdram
gefroce 4 ti
windows me
i got the newest driver so that my system is up to date with drivers
all graphic options are set to best performance and the rest is off
i got a goog cfg there are many options are set off to get a better performance
i play at 800/600 with only 16 bit and its still 20 fps

i really wonder why i got 20 fps because its still a hl mode and ns don't uses the best engine and i can play other games with higher fps and better graphic with no problems and higher fps.
