its not that hard to get used to like for halo the buttons just seem to be in the right place but for mech games it can be kinda hard
Many games coming out for xbox will be live enabled. I know alot of people who have it and have nver regretted it once.
1) Return to Castle Wolfestein: Tides of War - the online mulitplayer of this intense FPS is in a class by itself.
2) Mechassault - usually you can get this game with your LIVE subscription. Trust me, it earned OXM's* 9.3/10

Wait your buying the best FPS ever on a console when the game pretty much flopped on consoles instead of being sensaable and buying the PC version that will have hundreds of mods skins etc out fairly fast?
But yeh my friends X box live seems ok.

Buying Half-Life 2 for the XBOX is about as useful as buying Halo for the Atari 2600.
Don't buy into all the FPS hype, though. They still play better on PC's. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

While his analogy is a <i>tad</i> extreme, you'd be a fool to get HL-2 for the Xbox if you have a perfectly capable PC. Otherwise, it's fair game.
Does he review products on Amazon before they're released, too?
Edit: Gramm-oh!

Most likely. Read the HL-2 Amazon comments to be taken ino a fantasy world where <i>nothing</i> is as it seems.
If you're a big sports fan a lot of those games have Live support now too.
Misguided.

What do you mean misguided? I know about mech, splinter cell, upcoming DoA and all those stuffs.
But I just don't care to play those games. What's left is FPS genre. I think you use the wrong word.
Project Gotham Racing 2, Top Spin, Toca Race Driver, hey, try a round of Tetris Worlds or two. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

i meant halo 2 sorry for the confusion o and i was wondering what is exactly needed for wireless networking
theres a new mortal kombat game coming out? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->
You'll need a wireless router hooked up to your broadband line, and a wireless adapter for your XBOX. Microsoft makes both of those, so if you don't have them you can probably stop in someplace and pick them up. I wouldn't really recommend the Microsoft brand router, but the adapter is pretty much only available from them. Unfortunately, it'll be rather pricey. I don't recall what it was offhand, but I'm thinking somewhere in the $40-$50 department at least. I can check tomorrow.
btw i think its not mortal kombat online i think u meant the new online DOA or something
AMEN! I don't like many racing games, but DAMN that thing was kickass. *is.

Athough i dont even own and Xbox, id say its worth it. Im over my freinds house alot and he has it, along with pandora tommorow, rainbow six3 etc...its loads of fun and i think its only 50$ a year.
Sports game sare nice too.
Overall, not really worth the $50 for me, since at school the firewall manages to give me a craptastic ping, and at home, I can play my PC games online <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> . Although, once Halo 2 comes around, then it might be worth it.
Hopefiully the dorms are upgraded to something that doesn't suck by then...
