Thought you might find this interesting
<a href='http://lito.thezazi.net/naturalselection-current.png' target='_blank'>linked to save bw</a>
Its a social web of #ns!
The closer your "dots" are together and the thicker the line between each connection tells you the strength of the 'relationship'
the bot monitors set channels continuously, and makes a drawing every so often. I could make it so that you could talk to Himeno directly and ask her to send a copy of the most recent drawing to you, but i'm too lazy to change the password right now.
The web is made up based on the strength of the relationship (aka how much you talk to a certain person) The more you talk to him/her, the closer your nodes are together, and the thicker your blue line attaching you together is.
The most obvious way she monitors this is through direct contact. For example,
[22:54] <Sonic^> okey dokey Lito , rightey dokey Lito skip
[22:56] <Lito> SUYF, sonic
Himeno would read that as direct contact because names were noted in the message, and she would draw the web accordingly.
of course, there are other methods, such as who is currently active in the channel and how much they talk (one would assume to eachother), and she would strengthen the relationship binds to them and show them on the drawing. etc. etc.
Obviously, the more you talk, the more lines that are connected to you. and it makes sense to have the people with the most people interacted with to be in the middle of the web in terms of effectiveness of the readablilty of the web.
I'm currently tracking #ns and #ncrclan as well as #lunixmonster from the bot 'Himeno'. Feel free to say hi to her every so often <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->. She doesn't count herself and Chanserv into the web, though.

Hehe, that's a neat little program you got there.
You never seem to see kem^ikal and kem^ikal^afk in the chat at the same time...
You don't think...
Naaah... Couldn't be.

[Edit] Its now available, in real time, at: <a href='http://www.famfamfam.com/piespy/naturalselection/naturalselection-current.png' target='_blank'>http://www.famfamfam.com/piespy/naturalsel...ion-current.png</a>

But I'm surprised it doesn't generate tons of lines, because #ns is quite big...
Merry christmas!

OMG We have a relationship. Please don't tell my girlfriend <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I guess it's all those obvious statements I make like.
TH|Meto> God NS rocks
Random Person> TH|Meto: Yep it sure does
TH|Meto> That was a good match
Random Person> TH|Meto: What match?
I have found the key to being popular.

Also, it now shows basic attitudes towards other members by changing the colours of the nodes. People who express a lot of affection towards each other get their conencting line coloured pink, people who express hate get the edge coloured red between them.
If you get banned or kicked, dont expect to end up having a nice happy link to the op who banned you. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Tossing out ideas; as per usual. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
[being banned would get you a skull and crossbones!]
Also, berger and I have a strong e-relationship, so back off.
Its getting thinner though
Either that or its just that the image is getting bigger
