During the last while, a few things have happened that have made me feel rather unwelcome on these boards (my restriction, and the admin decision not to appoint moderators to the RPG boards, among others). For that reason, I'm leaving.
The Earth RPG is being moved to <a href='http://s6.invisionfree.com/Xect' target='_blank'>my RPG board</a>.
Anyone that wants to start an RPG there, or move an existing one there, are more than welcome to do so, just contact me (I'll be hanging around on these boards for a few more days, but then my visits here will become less frequent, so contacting me on my own boards will probably be more practical)
As for the RPGs that are staying in here. Sorry, but since I'm not going to be frequenting these boards any longer, I'm not going to be able to participate any longer.

Yeah, well. Guess that's how things work. 1½ year and still not feeling welcome kind of gives the impression of being in the wrong place, and there's no reason to stay here long enough that I end up getting sick of it. Better to leave before that happens.

When I came to this forum, I was kind of under the impression you were the "uber-l33t respected RPG veteran"...

Well, the RPG community is good. Lots of respect for each other, and people seem to care about it. But as for the rest of the community, I got restricted for carrying a thread in a different direction than Nem had decided, and after asking the moderators to help us get a moderator on the RPG boards, I was told (after spending a week getting in touch with someone, and another week waiting for them to make up their mind) that it wasn't going to happen.
There's a few other issues, but I'm not going to discuss them here.
As for the RPG community, it's great, but I'd rather try to move the people we like to a board were we're actually able to clean up the board, rather than using a corner of a forum where the admins won't even take the trouble to appoint a moderator. But drop by in the RPG forums I started, they're coming along just fine <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
