Hammer+Steam=**** mapper
A real smart thing to let steam have a folder with an e-mail adres in it to let other programs get confused >_<
My problem is that whenever I try to let hammer compile a map directly in my steam nsp folder, hammer totally losses it.
Instead of compiling the map into "youremail@isp.net"/half-life/nsp/maps it gets really confused at the "youremail" folder; hammer compiles maps in the steamcache folder all with the name of "youremail@isp".bsp.
Clearly it does this because steam has the idiotic property of having an e-mail adress in a foldername...
And all tools do this the original and both new and old tools of cagey.
So if anyone knows something about this plz help me for I am losing it >_<
