The unannounced part means that you and everyone else don't know about it yet. Phase 1 just means that the code to use whatever it is is there and can be implemented at any time through a server patch.
Note that Flayra said phase 1 was coded in, but would not be noticed because it won't actually do anything until the whole thing is coded in. So phase 1 is there, we just don't see it.

Sweet! This game could use some vehicles! And the backstories even fit - the Aliens, being attuned to nature, control the nekobus, and the average Marine player is without a doubt childish enough to see it!

One of my friends in korea died! After play for 2 weeks strait with no food, drink, or sleep my friend went ohnos and died to a lone marine using his knife. He jumped out of his chair, bashed his head into the keyboard untill he bled, then stabed himself in the heart witih a plastic spoon 20 times, then jumped out of a first story building. --It was rather tragic. Anyways, what was the point of this post?
Oh yeah, new magical system, nope have not seen it.
