that means the connection to the server timed out.

That can mean many things:

-The server sucks
-The server crashed
-Its a problem with your ISP
-A firewall is blocking access

i can connect to other games, but its just NS, i dont know whats wrong? i tried many different severs, and its all the same <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' />

yes, he said he can. Try to reinstall NS, if that doesnt work, redownload the beta 1 from a different mirror.
