    tried out these models so far, the phasegate is utterly incredible, can't say the tf and ip are quite as good.

    The gun models that ive seen (downloaded from nsarmslab) are really not that nice save the pistol/lmg

    the LA model is horrible atm.

    The weapons from the Spec Ops pack was as far as I know all hack jobs.

    Spec Ops 2 - Total Convertion Pack will only feature Meshes/Skins/Sprites etc. made from scratch.

    Weapon concepts/meshes by me and the rest by Dillinja.

    i got one suggestion on the LMG you see that carry handle thingy? make it kind of merge into the barrel because right now it seems to end abrubtly

    hi there,

    yes this is silver, looks like no one can get rid of me!

    anyways, about the rifle, i can point out several problems with it but sense im looking at a game perspective here and not a real life situation, my only cmplaint is the handle no one else seems to like. trust me, in the military no one uses those stupid handles, they break, their bulky at times, it does not make it easier to carry (in fact it can be harder)

    so in my view remove it. as for the rest of it, it looks great, nice body design, very sleek, other then it being rear heavy and forward barrle molding it seems great for ns. keep up the great work here.

    ps. for those of you who are sitting there going "WTH where did this idiot come from" i am silver falcon, ive been playing ns sense version 1 and love it. im currently making 2 half life 2 mods (one based in high tech ww3 and the other is a homeworld series fps)

    ill be hanging around the custom section here giving a military viewpoint on peoples models when needed (for those of you who like the who realism aspect) and showing off some of my work (ill be fideling around with making ns maps and posible models)

    Sushi do you already have the concept for Heavy Armor done? I loved your spec ops LA and HMG model so much that I wanted to try to make a concept for HA. I've already started on it now. Im going for a kind of faceted surface look, like a stealth fighter.

    Correct. Its based on the MN-23 and is converted from a short smg to a rifle.

    polys should be fine I mean specops one is very detailed too, sure its only models but I
    run it on a hunk of junk:

    p3 733

    and 256 megs of ram

    and it still runs well, so I doubt specops to will affect me to much, it's all about tweaking <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> if your on a low end machine, I get 50-60 fps on average at 1024x768 <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    nothing is over 1100 polys 8)

    the structures are mostly under 800 polys
