Briefing room

<div class="IPBDescription">What's it like?</div>I've heard that before a game actually starts, the Marine team convenes in a briefing room of sorts to chat about strategies for the game. What does it look like and can anyone graciously provide my curious mind with a screenie? <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

<span style='color:red'>***NUKED***</span> First off, it is called a "ready room". This is where players sit around and chat with each other before choosing a team. In the ready room, there are 3 portals to choose. "Play Marine" Play Alien" and "Auto". I can't give ya a screen, but look hard enough, and you might find one.

If you look hard enough in the left column you can see that I've been here since June of 2002 (longer than you, and I came here unregistered way before that).

Yes, it is called the ready room. And No, we can't give you a screen. The ready room is made by the mapper. Also there is not always 4 "doors" or "portals" to go through. There could be 100 if the mapper so chooses.

I do believe you can find at LEAST 2 screens of 2 different ready rooms of the offical maps.

Actually- isn't there a breifing thing as well? I seem to remember something about a 30-40 second delay for marines (so the aliens can get in place) in the form of a breifing.

1. You're the model you were in your last game. Unless it's you're first, than, you're a marine.

2. Some offical map readyrooms have been shown, check rr.org.

marine model(if you just joined) or your last used model, I.E. Fade if the last round ended while you were a lvl 4.

/me notes that sarge has almost as many posts as he does and sarge has only been here 1 month.

This has been asked a handful of times before. You start out as Marines(Correct?) but as you choose your team, and character/class you will apear as that when you want to join the RR again.

I think Phoenix is saying that Sarge is the noob because you've been here longest. Ofcourse I'm not a mind reader and this is like my 2nd post but I know all the stuff about this game, been following it since 2001 on and off. I just started following it closely Janurary of this year and would of signed up earlier but the forum would never let me sign up until now!

Enough of my life story, and I forgot my point.
