Hud Display Of Hive

<div class="IPBDescription">Where has it gone</div> In 2.01 you would see hive locations anywhere you went on the map.

Now it only shows up when its under attack.

Is this a problem with my client? Or has anyone else noticed this.

    You kind of have to be pointing in the hives general direction/be kind of close to see the hive dot.

    Which is kind of useless as if you're so close to the hive you probably already know where the hives is...     Why not just remove the totally useless alien flashlight and use that to toggle full hive sight.

    Because we're still hoping that Flayra will make the flashlight light up marines, like the sensory upgrade in 1.04. He acknowledged it in the bug database a while ago.

    you could just use the minimap, its easier to get to the "unknown" hive by using it imo

    Hives on hive sight is still useful for determining the proximity of "Under Attack" messages to a hive.
