I'll probably give it a shot, but Natural-Selection is where I'll be for awhile. And well, no offense to them at all, but Red Justice looks like a MOD, NS looks like a completely new game.

Oh, and in case you guys missed the news on PHL, <a href="http://www.specialistsmod.net/index.html" target="_blank">The Specialist</a> is to be released very soon(Trailer says oct. I thnk..). Don't know much about it but it looks like a pretty fun mod.

the only thing that relly prompted me to take a fleeting glance at the screenshots on PHL was the glow effects around the explosions. I must admit that looks cool. However the screenshots don't look anything impressive, seems to me like a DM Sven Coop with all weird player models.

The specialists looks like a cool game to me. I mean lots of games like it but lots have failed or just didnt have that "feeling" I liked the opera and they are bringing it to ut2k3(*whew* good thing i got it) and ill try every mod I can but im "usually" on 56k so it takes forever to dl anything. But ns is worth the long dl. Grrrr soooo many good mods comeing out on 1 day grrrrr.

If they're really going to have as many weapons as they have in the weapon's section then that is a bit of overkill. Other than that, I think everything looks top notch, and since The Opera is now defunct maybe these guys will get it right.(At least it doesn't go into the ridiculous realm by having a Pamela Anderson model)

the specialist looks like the same old stuff like other mods, so i'm not going to bother with it. The screenshots i've seen of Red Justice look pretty bad, but if I hear the gameplay is any good I might download it after I play NS for a while.

I want Russian front, CiN, Hostile Intent and Bushido except NS

I remember the Russian Front's first release-- I was so excited, I'd been waiting for months for it to be released, and then it came out. The maps were "photo realistic" and amazing to look at, sadly all of the guns fired their entire clip in under a second and the player models looked worse than Half-Life's.

I've been waiting for Hostile Intent since it was the Sherman Project, it seems like they are finally getting things done. Don't get your hopes up though, the original team was nearing a release over 2 years ago. There still seems to be a lot of ambitious mods being made for Half-Life, but I've really gotten lost in the whole MOD scene, so I've basically been focusing all my attention on Natural-Selection. Considering it looks like it will be much more than just a mod. Still, there are a lot of projects that I want to see get done, especially HL rally. Not so much because I'm a racing game fan, I just want to see it done on the Half-Life engine.

Red Justice is out 29th now. Maybe they didn't want competition with NS for the release day. Well I'll probably play it those last days before NS.

heh hostile intent seems like it will never come out, Theyve had problems for a looooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnggg time. Mainly problems with the dev team. There are plenty of ok mods that should come out soon. I shall try some of them and if they are good ill play them while im too frustrated with ns(mainly from those darn skulks gettin me).

Hostile Intent is still alive and kicking. They just had a gameplay clip a while ago.

Anyways, how does TS look like CS/TO. I mean it's aimming for a fun diving action genere with slight realsm. Other than that it tottally cuts away from everything. I mean alot of other MODs have the weapons it has. The models are ripped, yes, but highly moddiffed for the hell of it. As for diving, look at AHL. They copied from MP, no doubt. They even have bullet time(there's also a folder called bullet time in your AHL folder).

Red Justice looks like it will be fairly non-serious and fun, but I'll have to see.

The Specialists might be the fix for people who want the best elements of Counterstrike, AHL and Firearms in one spot. It's not too original, but it may be a good combination.

I'll play Red Justice for the 2 days until NS comes out, when I'm not reading the NS manual or looking at the screenshots.

...Ok, so I'll never play Red Justice.
