Quick Milkshape Question

Is there any way to use the 3D view to select stuff? If not, there should be, there's a lot of situations where it'd make life easier.

    Not quite.

You can select (or deselect) a vertex in perspective view by holding alt and clicking on it.

You can select (or deselect) multiple vertices by holding shift and alt and clicking on them.

Sorry 'bout that Burncycle, didn't even see this board.

And, btw, haxhax, I still can't create faces with it. :\ Does work for selections, though, which is still good.

    omg hax

Well, they don't just give you school liscences to use at home, do they? Little... How should I say... "sexual" work to be done first?

Please note that most female teachers are over the age of 50, and that more and more males are teaching in schools now more than ever.

Well considering they bought like 200 liscences for 12 computers, I'd think they have a couple extra to spare. And no, I didn't have sexual relations with my teacher (Uber-eww), he just gave me the CDs and school liscences after I asked if I could have a copy.

    God damnit...

My school has liscences for CADKey on ALL their computers, including little individual computers for all of the teachers, the programming class computers, the video communications computers...

    WTH?

go to 3d view, select wireframe overlay, then use your 2d views to select what you are trying to select. saved me a lot of pain.

milkshape is like the ak-47. its not pretty, its not advanced, but it gets the job done well.

mass idiocy like this is the product of an ignorant administration, too much government (or otherwise) funding and lazy computer techies or IT advisors. see it allllll the time.
