<div class="IPBDescription">The Paradox of Vampire Slayer</div> After downloading this vampire slaying mod, I was expecting to be fighting against vampires. To my dissapointment, there were no vampires... There were a bunch of giant ant things that could run fast, but no vampires. After like 15 minutes, I saw this flying bat... The bat could have been a vampire, but to my dissapointment, it only came down and bit me. I did not turn in to one of the bats nor did I die. I waited for a few seconds and spawned in to a big citidel populated by a score of turrets. I couldnt press "b" and buy ammo, so I ran out and a few clips later I died to a flying marine in a gorillia suit. Eventually the "Marines" team lost because we couldn't spawn back again.
It seamed to me that my marine team was playing against "vampire" bots... After close consideration of the constant "lol"s and "owned"s and "gg"s of the other team, and a long explanition by some angry marine, I found out otherwise. It seems odd that a team of intelligent players would all tend to type the same way.
For a mod called "Vampire Slayer", I must admit that this game has nothing to do with vampires and screenshots on the website don't resemble the mod at all. My suggestion is to rename this mod to "Marines Vs. Ants and Bats".
I must admit that the graphics for this mod is great. The maps are located in space, but I can't imagine why ants would go to space...

Natural Selection is all about space marines fighting aliens for controll of space stations and ships.

And is this mod better than the accalimed mod, <i>Vampire Slayer</i>?
I see that to win as marines, you have to build more hives than the other team has offensive towers, or something, right?
Natural Selection (NS) is MUCH better & more popular than any vampire slayer mod (see attatched image). It's steam's 4th most played mod, (After counter-strike, CS:CZ and Day of Defeat) and soon it's going to become an official Steam mod.
