Good rounds, thanks for posting!

Amazing how much the atmosphere changes just by making the rooms pitch black! that video was great

It would be really nice if the commander had the ability to select a few marines, bind them to a group, and somehow have them know that a) they are in a group, and b) where the other members of their group are (e.g. colour coded map icons). Just one…

Well done guys, $700 to go atm.
Going to be an awesome tournament! -
It was really, really nice of Intel and Nvidia to do that! ONWARDS, TO GLORY.
-
That would be a good start, but maybe it would be best if you selected a colour for yourself - so it's visible globally for other team mates + to the commander
-
Not a bad idea! There's definitely room in pub games for improved tools for forming squads and keeping track of certain team mates, any suggestions for how such features might work with the current interface?

You're right, the only thing this game is really lacking now is Protoss!

Pretty sure we an option for dual claw exo suit
-
Still seems to be broken in Firefox, works in Chrome
-
How about an exo suit equipped with an arc siege weapon?
-
(Quote) Well I'm with NeoQuaker on this one, I find the longer games the most rewarding because you have the time and incentive to develop a cohesive team on the fly with pub players, and (if the majority of players are semi competent) long games…

Score-based random would be really nice!

I highly recommend everyone watch at least the first game!!
Excellent casting, Bitey! -
Obviously it wouldn't play every time. It could be tied to the same option that toggles the in-game help.
-
The problem with the in-game help is that it talks over the top of the team chat / sound effects, and ends up being a confusing jumble if the new player is on an active server. Dedicated player training that's external to the main game is an excelle…

Resources like this are exactly what new players need to see, especially if they can be viewed while the game is loading and the player *has* to wait anyway. That would be perfect.
-
the only two bindings I need are forwards and fire.
edit: and they're both bound to space bar -
My guess is comprehensive Egg improvements.

I would arrange a trap to snag a gorge, put a bag on its snout to stop it spitting on people, compel it to build a gorge tunnel across the map and then use a tape measure to demonstrate non-euclidean geometry to my companions.

I'm just trying to work out how I never realised the scan option was in the E menu: I've *always* used the keyboard shortcuts for meds and ammo, since NS1, so I never actually looked at that menu to see what was in it in Accidental beacons Comment by tummy_yummy October 2013

Aha! Perfect! So that just uses any obs that's available?
Damn I wish I'd known that before... -
(Quote) It's a feeling of dread and shame that is unique to NS2, especially now that you can't cancel them!

That's fair enough. If the comm has literally no idea what they are doing then they should be told so and get out, or be ejected.
But atm I think the skill level threshold at which aspiring comms get shouted down is a f… -
What I find just totally bewildering is when experienced players come on to a 'Rookie Friendly' server and then get angry at a comm who is trying to learn how to play. How can that possibly be a constructive approach?
-
Ah I see. Seems like a strange description for the bug - I mean it doesn't do damage to the CC/Hive or trigger alert notifications or anything does it?
-
^ What is this one? I haven't noticed it before...
There have been a couple of occasions where I have come out of the CC with my gun auto firing (until I click / change weapon). -
(Quote) Why would they want to stop that? Those kind of shenanigans are what make beaconing such a high octane adventure
