Yeah, this is going to spawn some debate. Which is okay with me. :D
This is the kind of thing that goes on behind close doors on normal game releases, where they are optimizing it right up until the end. You guys are just getting to play with a version of the game that normally only the developers see.

1 Don't actually know off-hand, I just 'feel' how long it takes because of playing the game so much.

    2E

    3B

4E (there are a few cost effective spots; depends on player skill level and team cohesion)

5 Dumb question. Same as above; it may be better to kill an IP. if there is no Obs. Sometimes it may be better to kill the Arms Lab instead of the AA or the Obs. It's all situational.

    6A

    7D

8 Dumb question. 6v6 does not always mean it's a competitive game. The commander should always choose a strategy that takes his Marines' and enemy's skill levels into account.

Cba to answer the rest since it's obvious there are...

Every question has a thought behind it if you think its debatable you probably read it wrong.

5 and 8 may require some knowledge of basic tactics.

I will post correct answers and explanations later. Feel free to answer and dont worry about the score as the scoring is harshish and questions arent all that easy.

Oh and if you think some question is random or an opinion feel free to explain why you think so.

Yes, here's a cookie and mark of TrC's ultimate champion.

On a serious note if everything you can contribute is "it's not even a quiz" "Too many subjective questions" certainly you can explain why. Perhaps answering to the actual poll we'll learn thing or two. Nobodys trying to make anyone look stupid but if your answer denies everything without explanation it kinda gives that impression.

I think it's a certain arrogance and air of superiority in how you're trying to state, this is how it has to be played.

Different people have different strategies that work in public and competitive play. You can't definitively say what you say is right, that's just pure arrogance.

Not really, infact every question very clear, what I'm asking is not whether if MC or SC is better or other personal preferences. I think the only arrogant thing here is you and perhaps some other people making assumptions that there is already something wrong or elitistic in the air without giving any chance to argue why something is the right answer. It is very immature to start accusing without any solid to back you up especially if it might turn down people who may have wanted to try it out.

If your best argument is "You are wrong" then please refrain from answering because it really doesnt help out anyone.

Yes, but the best use of an OC *is* a personal preference.
I can see a lot of these questions having definite answers if you are playing competitively. Teams will train you very specifically to know what to do, and competitive teams tend to use similar lines of thought. That is the only way most of these have any correct answers. For the rest of us, half of this could be argued as opinion.

I don't think competetive play offers any clear answers either. Obviously the game gets played on a more optimized ways, so some less optimal stuff becomes less and less viable, but I don't think that leads us to any kind of definite best decisions. OCs might be used mostly for the 2nd hive or jetpack defence, but I don't think anything qualifies it as the very best use. It might as well situationally be something as weird as reactionary defence against spawncamp or so.

    10. You haven't defined what fast motion is so I can't answer it as stupidly as possible.

    11. I have no idea what "bunnyhob" is, but I'm going to say B

    D B D A A E D A D

Note: I answered these as random and idiotically as possible. So apart from the first 3, if any others are correct, except the elitist "bunnyhob" one which is correct, shows even more so how bad this "quiz" is other than being amazingly subjective and just someones opinion.

@TrC thanks for writing up this neat little quiz even if some questions are "problematic" I appreciate the time you spend on that :)
