Yeah, I agree it can be helpful in hindsight to sometimes look back, and yes contrast and compare. Simply stating they shot themselves in the foot (an opinion) in a thread that hasn't been posted in for 7 years is hardly helpful. There's no intelligent contrasting and comparing going on.
But then not like amb has a track record of constructive posts. Honestly I had my answer in my question. Why necro such an old thread to be negative? Cuz some people just gotta be negative.
I personally see no problem in "necros" if it's relevant.
It's a SEVEN YEAR OLD thread, and it has been necro'd because of a highly subjective opinion on a matter that hasn't been relevant since alpha. NOT RELEVANT.
