Hi!
PS3 Eye mic doesn't work in NS2. It works in Windows and TF2 for ex. Message from log:
Garbage in the message is misinterpreted device name in russian. I use driver from: https://codelaboratories.com/products/eye/driver

You can purchase very cheap mics online at ebay or elsewhere, and i recommend doing so for compatibility sake for this game as well as others, despite it working with TF2.
