This took me way too long time to take...I'm a lousy video editor so I guess this is my best shot even though I am not overly happy about the result, I wanted to teach much more, have better examples etc. But well, there ya go :)

Special thanks for everyone helping me in this, especially the guys from the NS2 Learning Group and Burdock who convinced me to make this one.

    Yeah, I tried to get some focus on what NOT to do as a skulk, like walking single file into a bunch of marines - people will get pretty disappointed when they constantly die and don't know why, like feel skulks are worthless lifeforms. Another issue of heart is the passive gameplay in pubs. Maybe that helps :)

    Not too thrilled. Takes about a minute and a half before you actually get to the topic. Most people are closing the browser if they don't hear anything useful in the first 10 seconds. After all, you're competing on peoples attention with a video against just going in-game and having fun while learning. You gotta deliver fast to beat the "real experience".

    That is just how I feel, might be wrong. In any case, +cookies for the effort, hopefully it'll get some views.

    Awesome video, watching some of the pre-set scenarios was fun :D my favorite is the "don't clump together" examples you guys did for marine. Hah.

    i agree it could be wrapped up here and there, but i really like the content as these are things you usually don't learn too quickly just by playing a few rounds. good job.

    btw: i belive the "c"-map is called macro-map

    I would have loved to see a brief portion on optimal combat tactics. Its not immediately obvious to everyone that the best thing to do as a marine is to jump wildly in different directions and that you should use a bunnyhop type movement as a skulk.

    For example I am having to relearn my skulking as once I closed range I used to always circle strafe around marines and I couldn't figure out why they seemed to be having not to hard a time killing me. Then I realized its because I needed to jump while circle strafing and its a pain to relearn my biting.

    Combat tactics like jumping, strafing, walljumping, blink mechanics etc etc etc and other movements vary alot in the different builds, so I did focus on longevity stuff only, didn't want to see that video outdated too fast :)
    Also there are already tutorials for those afaik

    For the critics on long intro - very true dat, I thought about that alot but in the end couldn't come up with a better idea of how to put all that at start.

    And for the love - love you guys <3


    Maybe someone else will pick up the ideas and make a better tutorial out of it with good quality editing etc., I'd welcome it, I just wanted to put in my view on what I usually miss in tuts.
