I'm no C/C++ low-level developer but instead a C#/Java developer so this may be really stupid but...in C# you've a FileSystemWatcher class with which you can listen to changes done inside a specified directory. Event types would be added/removed/ren…

as for the rest of the patch: Nice bugfixing! Awesome patch!
But I still have that weird orange/brownish rectangle around my mouse cursor when in the (main) menu. -
2 Things about problems in IT: Never try to solve a hardware bug in software and never try to solve a software bug in hardware. Instead, solve the software bug in software and the hardware bug in hardware. That's the only correct approach. Everythin…

kind of disappointed but oh well...I waited 3 years for this game, I can wait a few more days. (or weeks, since I just hope that at some point you'll fix that awful long loadingtime)

why would I use a 64bit operating system? You got a bunch of driver problems, especially in Windows 7 64bit (have to deal with that on a nearly daily basis, because customers think '64bit == better'). Also the game itself is only a… -

I did that shortly after 255 appeared...never got a response. -
how would I find a modded server? Also I checked the mod menu point in the game, and there is no mod listed.
*edit
I just tried to connect to an official server again, and it worked. The error didn't pop up again. -
I had (have) no mods installed?!
* edit
just to be sure i checked how to check if mods are there, apparently there should be a Workshop folder where the log.txt is located...none there. -

does that only apply to Microsoft Windows users? Because I'm running the game in window mode and on a much lower resolution than my native desktop resolution and I don't have that bug, only difference is that I'm on Linux.
works now.that looks awesome. Thanks for fixing the mouse 4, 5 and 6 buttons on Linux!
But the strange rectangle around my mouse cursor is still there.since they're currently busy fixing memory fragmentation and stuff like that, I guess it's more like this:

(pulled that from their twitter account)
please UWE, don't tease us and don't rush that patch. Also S2Games released most of their patches on Friday's until very recently. Went good for the most part.huh, according to their Twitter account they're getting closer to at least deciding if we get a patch this week. I'm somewhat curious/anxious about those 'unresolved issues'.
didn't saw Ironhorse's post, sorry.(Quote)
huh, I'm confused now. I was not rude. Maybe dismissive, but not rude. Your ignoring on the other side, is exactly that: Rude and dismissive.
Hypocrisy much?

true on the first part, on the second part...I'm not sure about that, but that'd be my opinion.
About the other stuff: True on that.(Quote)
Well, in the news article you put on the website it says something about unfixed bugs, about 'pushing limits' and that the next bugfix is delayed because people are stressed out after they needed to work more than usual to get the…tl;dr we fucked up with a too tight time schedule, our employees are burned out and now we need at least a few days to get everyone back on track.good for them for being able to play this game...for the rest of us, is there a patch coming to fix at least some of the problems that make the game currently unplayable on Linux?(Quote)
I think so.
About the test team thing: The weird thing is, I tried to get into it by filling out their application but I did get nothing back, neither a 'yes' nor a 'no'.
