Just to quickly throw 2 cents in. 24p can be fun, but the size of ns2 maps almost guarantees "trench warfare". Slightly larger maps, more halls, and rooms w/o tech/res that are strategically important for both teams would help 24p servers.

OP, sotanaht OS correct. Put more space between cysts. At least an onos apart if you want to be safe.
KDR is one measure to consider, just don't make it your only one. Some games I have made tremendous impact with maybe a 1:2 KDR. In one game, instead of a good KDR, I racked up 6 havester kills without support. I even got thier first two harvesters …(Quote)
