Sonar works just as good as night-vision for piloting the Seamoth and Cyclops even if it is an energy hog. Actually being able to see the dangerous creatures in the dark just ruins the horror aspect of Subnautica.

Wouldn't work since you need to name the capsule to progress in the game. Could be possible that your capsule has to be picked by the devs to get the achievement. -
