Does this happen on just modded servers, or does it occur on non modded?
Have you tried verifying the integrity of your game cache files through Steam? (Library > Right click Natural Selection 2 > Properties > Local Files)

Does this happen while in any specific window mode, or does it not matter?
Are you running any sort of internet security program? -
Yeah I thought I was onto some sort of commonality with the info I was gathering and thought I had found it, but alas it was just a wild goose chase.

double post.

What kind of crashes are you guys getting exactly? Non-responsive crashing, game shuts down crashing, etc.
-
I'd like to gather some data from the people having this issue.
- When are your instances of runtime errors occuring? (If during a map change, which map?)
- What graphics card are you using?

Delete your cache folder located in C:\Users\<your user account>\AppData\Roaming\Natural Selection 2\cache. This will delete your shaders. Then load up the game and let it redownload them. Also make sure you are not running any overlay devices…

Nobody is taking their time fixing it, that comment is a little bit on the ignorant side. The fact is that it's a weird bug that the devs are trying to pinpoint to be able to fix it properly. Not all bugs that seem like are a simple one-two-three fi…

The relationship of the hitboxes between the client and server are off. You can still kill it by finding where the hitboxes are. The easiest way to make sure you are on the actual hitboxes is when you shoot at the entity if you start to see damage n…

When your microphone stops working while in game, all you have to do is just bring up the menu, then go back into the game. No need to go into the sound options and change anything around. It's not a perm fix, just a temp solution until the devs can…

Try updating/reinstalling your graphics drivers and/or DirectX.
-
Had you checked in the sound settings to make sure that the correct device is selected?
-
If you didn't start having this until after you had updated your graphics card driver, I would suggest reverting back to the driver before it and see what the results are.

Has anybody tried verifying the integrity of the cache or updating/reinstalling their Microsoft Visual C++?

I've been doing some extensive research on this, and below are some things for the people having this issue to look at:
On Screen Display Programs - If you are running this type of program ('Gamer OSD' or "Smart Doctor' for ASUS Mobo;s),… -
Couple random thing to look into.
Power management - If you are running more towards performance, bring it down to more of an eco state.
Java - Try reinstalling Java.
Cleanup - Go through and do a computer cleanup (temp files, disk… -
For the time being until we can find a possible solution to this, I would suggest that when you want to exit the game, to pull up task manager and close it from there.

I don't think there is anything you can do outside of the fonts. With something like the map for instance, that is an actual image. Outside of trying to take the overview image file and scaling it down, things like this are something that would have…

Does this happen on only one server?
Does this happen on a specific map?
When this happens, run a dump file along with a dxdiag and either post it here or send it in to UWE. -
Sometimes deleting the workshop folder can resolve issues like this.

I think at this point it's a matter of trying to find out which mod it is that's causing the issue. At this point to be able to determine this, the only thing I can think of is by disabling all mods and then turning them on one by one.

Just so you're aware the first pic you showed was in the ready room, to which you're always going to have high fps in the ready room as there is nothing really there to have to render. Overall your fps stay consistent, which is a good sign despite t…

Normal log file is name log.txt. You definitely want to have multicore turned on especially when it comes to running cpu heavy applications.
-
Lets grab some things from you so we can look into this a little more. A dxdiag could be very helpful, and also provide your log file after you have played a round or two.

Regardless if you never have had a problem with them before, if they are not a listed reseller by Steam or UWE, then I wouldn't trust them. I think your safest move at this point is to double check with UWE that your copy is indeed legit, and in the…
