according to a few people there are already a few "story" elements with text pop ups when you come close to the aurora and enter the reactor room

you mean like the huge mushroom tree inside the mushroom forest because that is supposed to be one plant (all the mushrooms are supposed to be connected as one organism)

to be honest there are way more small creatures in the game at the moment then medium and large creatures combined so I would rather see some more medium or large creatures but I wouldn't be disappointed with small creatures.

I have never had a reaper spawn on top of me but the thing is quiet fast and even though it spawns out of the draw distance/fog it can get to you quickly.
