you can just lock it in a stasis bubble for up to 12 or 15 seconds scan a bit and pop stasis again and repeat.

I would say yes except that we are already getting a bigger map but mostly in depth ( literally most of the planned biomes will be underneath the blood kelp biome which is already the deepest biome so far.

there will never be dynamic terrain generation everything will always be done by hand. And as The_Shark said multiplayer is extremly long term and right now it is still on the "won't do" list of the dev team.

I like your idea but the creature would already be scary enough if it was the size of bone shark or a bit larger. Also the shocker is already going to in habit the blood kelp biome so another large creature might not happen.

there is a similar room in the blood kelp biome but around 5 times as large but there isn't anything inside it.
at least there used to be one it has been around a week when i last checked the area out. -
