I didn't play much NS2 recently but the movement buff is a great buff for EXOs. What you described adds to that. So I see the problem too.
I think your 2nd solution (reduced number of MACs) is a valid suggestion because

I think they were encouraged to behave like hooligans for the audience and whatnot. At least I hope they were.

Didn't one of the devs said that you could switch the camera type by pressing Spacebar or something?
I can't switch to any other camera mode. But maybe that's only for real spectators and not for dead teammates.
I have to agree with despair, although I believe it was better in 240.
now, it hurts my eyes. I even spectated one lerk which was flickering between somewhere far under the map (clipping) and his normal view constantly.
someh…I have the same problem but I think that only the Z key is bothering me.
Because I'm german and on my keyboard, Y and Z are switched in places.And they are still using the same weapon technology for lmgs, shotguns, gls, chainguns and flamethrowers. the only real year 3030 weapons are ARCs and railguns imo.
But movies like Aliens have the same problems. Only the motion tracking …I'm all for mobile sentries (little dmg buff OR 360°, max count (3 to 5 per command station)) and static arcs (3 per room, need battery, longer build time). I get your point but why should the fishy key seller make profit while UWE is charged with a fee? We don't talk about piracy here, we talk about profit on one side (key seller) and loss on the other. It's just the same with Kim Dot…I hate the internet sometimes. I had it once that I was hovering Cargo (fully infested area) a long time (building cysts and a shift) and then dropped a Hive which got attacked just the second I dropped it. D…Good idea, but sounds a little OP in my opinion since a parasite sniping skulk which can 1shot kill marines is way to strong. The parasite should at least be cured by medpacks/healing at armorys/getting welded by MACs aswell.

The Natural Selection franchise is maybe the only one where I would pay for any Content DLC to keep the business model as it is and - more important to me - to support the devs. Because I love the games - bugs and balance/performance problems aside.…I didn't read everything here but this sounds amazing:

I don't think that it's a fadelerkskulkgorge. It's more some kind of onosgorge…I want a bindable chuckle too!
Or at least/even better some kind of (old school CS/TF2 voice command menu) where I only have to hit X and then hit 4 for "chuckle" or 5 for "All clear!".
