  • I can't tell you how many times I'm flying as a lerk or fade and just slam into a team mates clog wall in a pub and die a terrible death lol

I have no idea how to do that, and I also have no idea what the exact values were used in the vision! If I did then I would have done it
  • After fooling with metabolize I can see how it's something which can be quite useful and smart (I didn't notice any hp regen however, or wasn't paying attention) but for whatever reason I still prefer older iterations of the fade

    Includi…
  • Ah insanity in amnesia could have had so much more done with it. I have no idea how this game will be though, so the idea itself is cool for sure BUT you may want to keep this as a toggleable option if anything.

Sort of like how modders …
  • Yeah the original AV gave me motion sickness, which is when I tried out gliss's version and stuck with that until gorgeous I believe broke it due to some type of change, gliss had retired playing by then I believe and it was never updated.

Everything becomes greyscale and enemies are yellow, it makes the world seem less detailed which takes it out of focus and helps keep you on target

I have no idea if it even requires a lot of work or barely any work, if I knew how I'd have done it already. I'm surprised you haven't used this one before, it was probably the best AV out. It completely dulls out the entire landsc…
  • First I subscribed to it from the steam workshop

Then I turned off the mod and joined a regular server, after it connected I disconnected, enabled the mod and restarted and I seem to be able to join now

It'd be nice to have it as one of the selectables from ns2+. But even getting it working on the workshop would be great, it was my favorite AV and was never updated with that content change two years ago or so

3v3 quake ctf? Serious sam? haha don't remind me of how good fps gaming was :(
  • I think I've found a bug

I was on veil in skylights and I was welding a blueprint to build it, I hit drop item (while welding) and it made my welder disappear

So I think if you weld a blueprint and drop it while doing so the …
  • So the easy way to really reproduce this is to try and lerk spike moving targets, you can see that the hitbox is somehow not aligned with the model - it only seems to happen when things are moving around quickly, targets going slow/not moving hit li…
  • Here's something I pulled from console: Worker 06: Error: Consistency checking failed on file 'lua/entry/customhud.entry'

But inside that folder is nothing. Edit: Can confirm disabling ns2+ allows me to join again
  • I just subscribed to ns2+ on the workshop and that made me able to host a local server

However joining other servers it still tells me it's out of date and I can only join one

I removed the custom crosshair MOD and overwrite …
  • can confirm there is some type of reg problem, played today with stable fps/decent ping and the server at a tic of 30 -- when aliens got really close to me and I'd flick to their model it was missing completely - as if the hitbox was not with the mo…

I shall tune my monitor until it outputs the rays of the sun itself! But honestly that sucks, low lights gives over 20 fps constantly but they're very 'dull' instead of fullbright. Anyway I'll just make a separate profile for ns2 o…

titanfall is a pile of trash.. and you know what's the worst? Titanfalls game size is just because of uncompressed audio and music.. the game itself is honestly probably no more than 5GB-8GB (relative to how little content is actua…
  • Is it possible for you to allow in-game gamma adjusting via ns2+? I turned on low lights and adjusted my monitor but am unable to get a very bright image in which seeing is 'very' easy

Unless you have another solution to that
  • Also I'd love for the requirements on the store page to be slightly adjusted?

I'm liking the ideas everyone, so far we've concluded

The build has to be stable

Rookies need somewhere to play as rookies only

  • The time range can be whatever they want to decide, I'm just saying it'd be a smart decision to do it after all these nice updates and when it's been stable for a few 'weeks' after being released to the regular players.

    Would help give p…

And we want more plants in atrium
    :-h
  • Well loading on a regular hard drive is much quicker now, didn't get to test any gameplay or performance changes

But it looks good, by the way does this game have any type of like gamma control built in? I'm using the nsl low lights and …

Ugh everytime I try downmix 5.1 it just feels wrong...... I guess if I really want 5.1 without muffled audio or things sounding in the distance I'd need actual 5.1 speakers.. using soundcards to downmix to stereo headphones works b…
  • when I tested it it worked fine, I used 5.1 downmix to stereo headphones with whatever my soundcard driver. I just hate the muffle sound or how voice chat becomes funky with the surround on
  • It's only muffled with the surround setting though, even voice chat sounds like it's coming through a tube when I turn it on

Unless you just tried to explain that to me and it went over my head.. lol! Sounds good with crystalizer on 25%.…
  • Ok so here's what worked for me and the g4me zero

    windows 14% - setup to 5.1
    flat EQ
all SBX off besides crystalizer - set at 25%
    in-game set to headphones

This gives me 'regular' in-game audio to where I ca…

I don't use the SBX setting as of right now, but with it set properly on - it tells you the 'distance/direction' of where someone is, regular positional audio just gives you the general area - if someone made a noise I literally co…

Ah that explains it, they were rectangles which probably made the collision feel like i was hitting a person(wall) for whatever reason I prefer that, maybe cause I'm so use to it in other titles I play when you 'bump' each other, i…
