problem with flamer is its easy as hell to use, so u give it any power and it becomes very cheesy

ftl is an amazing game, i hope they eventually release a more open sandbo ftl, where u explore a galaxy and meet new life, still rougealike but without the set path to follow. travel to any system and have strange encounters etc..

looks like skulk heaven, also i cant imagine the performance being very good, a lot of detail in large rooms with long lines of sight. If you can make it work then it will be awesome however

1 thing i always like the idea of, was that aura from the shade hive (think its aura which allows you to see enemies) should also allow an alien to remain hidden from an obs and scan provided they are stationary (maybe also slow moving)

I think it would help if maps could have more interaction, like elevators, weldable vents etc to seperate them from one another. Howser is right in that theres only a handful of possible layouts that work remotely well and then each map is just a sm…

I kind of hate tech points, but kinda like em to. I wish we had the freedom to place hives and cc anywhere like in ns1, but the tech points limit the amount of "cheese" that can occur i guess, like placing hives in vents etc..

the hive skill works in most cases but not always, for example the game kept balancing the same teams but each time aliens would get completely slaughted within 5 mins even though both teams had 1600 hive skill. this happened 3x in a row with teams …

i have roughly 1600 1600 win loss ratio and mine is 2000, i actually have a few more losses then wins -
but in theory if you play evenly matched games then your score should be osmething close to a 1-1 win loss ratio which will give you a hive score of roughly 2000

also some people i am sure will buy the game and discover there are only small servers and then never play it. Whlst some mght be driven away by large servers others may very well be driven away by small ones.

i get the feeling that this change to medpacks should have been a compmod change and not a change affecting all servers, UWE should invest in a compmod style game mode for those that play at that level.

there are new players and even experienced players who play on woozas servers who have NEVER played on any other server and likely never will. Woozas server has its own community seperate to the rest of ns2 as well as sharing the community of ns2.
