I got a new pc 3 weeks ago that changed things for me. Went from getting 15-25 fps to 75-120 in average combat. I don't do bad these days but I have like 500 hrs in; however, only 100 with above 20 fps

I've seen this too and honestly think I get better performance with it like this. I'm fairly sure you were playing on a modded server though (not a bug).

EDIT: Looks like I am wrong. People are saying it is a bug.
