Have you ever thought that maybe everyone's pc isn't as bad as yours?
I know NS2 isn't exactly the most optimized game, but that's a different problem. I personally prefer to play 16-24 player servers. -

Can this be implemented? I got my 1080 recently (which is major overkill till I get 1440p+144hz) and the current AO looks pretty bad in terms of quality. -
I thought this was going to be a thread about adding neat little critters to infested areas, which would be really cool if we also had a better infestation system.

Unnecessarily contributing to bloat is a good reason for removal. And most of the things you listed I would not consider bloat. -

I oppose improved visibility in dark rooms. I think it was too much to begin with anyways. Plus red just fits the emergency/derelict atmosphere better. -

The problem is that marines lack the movement capabilities and compatible map design that would make this effective.

Because when I click on a marine it doesn't always infest them. The hit registration zone (if it could be called that) is not very obvious and/or is being implemented in a poor manner. -

Landing a quick infest isn't spot on because the detection is spotty and the distance require isn't very clear.
Likewise, flamer hits can be spotty too because UWE won't double fire rate and halve damage, which confuses… -

Something that really annoys me about Infected is that the UI takes up way too much space on the screen. Have an option to turn most of it off. And please shrink the size of the RT icons.

I don't know why people keep complaining that the servers are toxic. Unless you suck at commanding, people usually act pretty decent in-game.
