I can say with 100% guarantee that the patch fixed the jittering on initial loading after connecting to a server and that the mouse-lag is gone on DirectX 9.

Should also add/experiment with Aliens not having to rechoose upgrades again upon spawning, or to at least choose them b4 spawning while you're choosing respawn location just to keep things stream-lined and to keep the flow going.

Is that D3D9 fix directed at sli/crossfire cards or BOTH single-card+crossfire/sli?With parasite+2 bites being early game strats, I don't see a problem with strafe-jump at all. If you time it right, you will hear a grunt. You basically gain a slight boost when you strafe-jump. Strafe for a while, then jump. It has a cool-down.
