Sounds legit. -
I have a Radeon HD 7700 series card that has had zero problems with this game, so I can vouch that not all cards are being affected. I know I'd be just as put out but these sorts of issues when more than half the playing field is out of your hands, …

I've known about the corridor and hatch trick for a while now, but it always seemed way too cheaty to me so I chose not to use it. I felt pretty darned proud getting that deep with what little I had. Almost drowned both times I went down to look at …

I definitelt agree that the plants are OP as heck. In one game I was living off a single hanging fruit tree. I didn't even bother with fish or water after that point.
Zero effort should not equal all the benefits. Yes, you have to go out… -

I said it earlier in the thread, but it's nice to see other people confirming my suspicions. Fragments are randomized between wrecks, and apparently that includes number of fragments as well.
All my safe shallow wrecks … -
2-3 Normal tanks in the beginning, and then 2-3 HC tanks when I can upgrade them. It really depends on whether I need those extra four spaces for either scavenging or food and water.

That sounds like the game isn't keeping track of what fragments are found in the world state between saves. Basically when you start up the game and it's spawning in things, there's nothing to tell it, "no, no, player's already been here, move on" s…

You can actually put four wall lockers per wall.
I only use the other lockers sparingly, but I agree… -
Nice work on finding all those wrecks. Just came back from the one in the koosh zone, but wasn't able to explore because I kept running out of air. 200+ depth is pushing what three air tanks and a seaglide allow me to do.
Really need to … -
They are working on a cell/battery charger, actually. Though I have no idea when it'll get done and put in the game.
Here's a link to … -
And some blueprints require you to scan a certain amount of fragments before you can even unlock the blueprint now. The mobile vehicle bay (the ship builder) is one of them.

I do believe the wrecks have random fragments in them, because the wreck near the aurora for me had Seamoth, Seaglide, and Solar Panel fragments in it.

That is the Jelly Shroom caves, and as for that base? There's some hints on the floating island about where that particular base came from. Given how bad off the bases on the island are, I believe whoever built them and this one were survivors from …

Talk about a sight for sore eyes. |D

I started a new game on the same build yesterday, as well. All fragments have been moved around and into wrecks. I played almost two hours yesterday before finally finding a wreck with fragments. The ones around the safe shallows seem to be mainly e…

Transport mainly. I load it up with lockers and resources and use it to move stuff to new base locations. I'd like to be able to do more with it, but in its current state of affairs, I can't justify the cost to keep it running. I haaaaaaate making p…

A few times yes. It seems the explosion is happening randomly for me between 1-3 days. I'm on experimental, though, so I've just been rolling with it.

Yes, please!
I think this every time I have to get out to eat and drink. -
My first base is always in the safe shallows, near-ish my lifepod. I typically try to get it overlooking or near a kelp forest because I like the view. This one usually has two double or triple stacked aquariums and enough storage to hold mountains …

The save file bloat is partly due to lack of polish and fine tuning of things, at least that's my hope. On my laptop I can put quite a bit of time into the game but at some point the massive file size is too much. My desktop is better by leaps and b…

Yeah farming definitely sets you up nicely, but I like knowing I'm not draining the eco system around me. Grow times definitely need tweaking but you're right too. Plant enough and you never have to worry. One of the end game goals needs to be susta…

Solar panels aren't really useful when you build deep, not without some serious pillaring up or using power transmitters. That just isn't worth it to me when I could use the resources elsewhere. I use thermal or nuclear in the depths.

I've been hit by the inability to swim in my new game as well. Reported it and went poking around in the backend tracker to see if any of the updates for today stood out. Only thing that really made me pause was this: "removed world forces from cycl…

I don't know about you, but if I had the choice between a twin bunk and a queen sized bed, I'm taking the queen. I like to stretch out. And after what our character went through, stranded seemingly alone, with no garunteed rescue i… -
I actually perfer the extra speed. I don't use my tools near enough that I gobble up batteries and to date, I have never built a seaglide because it just takes up way too much space in my inventory.

See my comment above. I suggest fruit smoothies, juice, and wine. If I wasn't lazy I'd draw them. But lazy... xD -
Most excellent, my bedroom can now live up to its name. XD

I put engineer because of our ability to weld up the drive cores, but honestly I'd be okay if this was left up to us to decide. There are ways to be vague about our role, but give enough information to choose. Especially if we never see another huma…

Nice! I was just about to start another new game because my pod teleported to oblivion before I could build a powered base of operations. It'll be nice not to have the floating doors of doom looming in the distance (even if they made a nifty, if eer…

More food is always great but what about new things to DRINK? Hanging fruit smoothy anyone? Melon juice? WINE to go with our fancy meals? XD
