Yes, it would be a poor decision to just abandon their game. I can't remember but i think V1.0 (the full version) is when they are adding the story parts of the game.

Well if you did just buy the game I could see that as an easy mistake. I normally read the little text bar under the items to know how to interact with them... while hovering over the item that is. I hope that helped you (:

you want to click or drag using left click.
