I posted a topic about that kind of thing a few months ago. Apparently the current Reefbacks are only juveniles, so putting a full-fledged SeaBase on an adult wouldn't bother them any more than a saddle on a blue whale.

Well, if I knew how, I would. I'm a gamer, not a forum troll. -

600 volts of electricity, which is the amount stated in the PDA, isn't really as dangerous as to kill you outright, even in water. It would hurt like hell, and probably do the paralysis effect that in Drooping Stingers do WAY too much damage. Comment by The_Shark February 2016 -
I've been thinking about that idea quite a bit when I'm in my Moth, but I always forget to say anything about it. I mean, the cockpit is a seat, not a restraining full-body suit holding your hands and legs in place. Quite often, I want to wait until…

So, trapdoor-spider monster underwater? I like the idea. -
Whoops, sorry, I was away for a bit. Anyway, lemme think...
I do like that idea: (Quote) So maybe... like, to get the heat knife, you research a knife and... I dunno, some heat-thingy. If, as most people assume, UWE is going to add temperatu… -

Don't think I'm not aware of how incredibly illogical that particular combination would be. I was using it as an example to better explain the concept. -

I didn't say that's what it was. It's something more along the lines of, again, a tech tree. In order to unlock a Harpoon gun, you need to unlock and build a knife and a propulsion cannon. To make a grapple gun, you need to unlock … -

I... love that idea. Maybe it could only be applied to "Leviathan-class" entities, just to prevent people from crashing the game by tracking every fish in the ocean.
And I honestly agree, the Mole is more of a luxury. B… -
As always, this is phenomenal. Honestly, I think UWE should sponsor you for this.

If you're having trouble with memory, just buy an 8GB flash drive (they're pretty cheap). Plug it in, should bring up a window. Click on "Boost System Speed" and click okay, and you have about 4gb more RAM to work with. Until you unplug the drive.

Witness the power that technology can impart unto us! -
Give us the option, but not the requirement (sorta like my view on a lot of things people suggest), and I'd love it.
Especially like the idea of a "sleep bar." Maybe if it runs out to below 5%, it doesn't deplete as fast, but it reduces … -
The Reaper is scary, true, but I have to say I like stalkers best, due to their advanced AI. They seem to be the only creatures in the game right now that don't just fall into "attack-on-sight" "run-away" or "ignore" categories. They have much more …

And if there was a nuclear accident of the scale in the game, then there wouldn't be any corpses. They'd be too busy having been vaporized.
Plus, it wasn't a nuclear core. It was dark matter, and I dunno how that stuff works. -
I just thought of something.
The guy in this story, after he gets a lot of materials and stuff, enough to waste...
Based on his reactions, once he finds the Reaper, he's going to consider the entire Aurora wreck as hell-no land.

Drop test.
That is beautiful.
The rest of the story is too, but that just made me laugh. -

Well, I'm off to stab the Reaper in the rear end. Queue the music.

I just want to float up to the Sea Dragon, look directly at him, and yell,
"Behold the power of Mother Russia!"
while sitting completely immune in this thing:
in What kinds of submarines do you want in this game? Comment by The_Shark November 2015 -
I fully agree. I mean, sitting here with a knife that can't be used as a knife is rather pointless. It's still made of the same materials, just not usable anymore, so why not? I agree though, not all of the materials should be given back (that would…

(Quote) Actually, I've done a bit of research on nuclear fusion. It requires two isotopes of hydrogen, deuterium and tritium. These, as can be assumed from the name, are the isotopes with a weight of two an three, respectively. Tritium can be eas…

I admit, that's pretty cool...
But what the hell is that green stuff on the wall?
Also, you should change the title of the post. It's your, not you're. You're is a contraction, so the current title is "Look what you can do with you… -
"You need God's Own Access..."
So, you're pretty much screwed. -

Hmm... lemme see...
The Cyclops requires 40 titanium, due to needing 4 ingots (10 titanium each). With a sub that (comparatively) small, 40 is still not much.

I like how you actually have something happening before the crash. In most survival stories, fanfiction or otherwise, it always seems that they start the story like thirty seconds before the protagonist gets stranded.

This is exceptionally well-done. I've never been much of a writer, so this is far beyond anything I could ever hope to do... and it's also better than many full-blown authors whose works I've read. I mean, I can decide a basic plot…
