Yep, it's still pretty much dead.
Nexzil, bklub, Damage Networks, All-in, KKG, manup, nureign (not NA, but play in NA div), dysgorge, and vexx are the only teams I see scrimming NA side. -
Probably the biggest issue is performance and not even stuff for casuals. But it is quite disappointing that NS2 is barely hitting the Top 100 in Steam Stats.

Lul, lets re-implement an ability that people became very agitated with in NS1 which took you out of the game for a couple of seconds and implement it into a "fast paced" mod of the game, YES that sounds brilliant.

We'll see, I may be in a provocative pose though...

I use the same sensitivity for both marines and aliens. The only time I would like to have my sensitivity is increased is when I play lerk to be able to look up/down a bit quicker, but other than that I am fine with my current sensitivity

It is true though that a lot of servers are having a difficult time trying to figure out what they can do for the players who are too skilled for their servers. I think I was told by some National Gaming (NG) admins, that they were going to try to …

I think to increase the player base, we need to make sure we need prizes for competitive events. Even online events such as Nexzil PG is great. These types of initiatives really get players interested in playing the game. But again these events s…

Crouching while shadow stepping can be pretty good. Like the others say, you can move front, back, side to side while shadow stepping. You can also go from SS to Blink once its up and you can go around the map and engage marines very quickly, jus…

Shade hive first on certain maps in competitive play can be VERY useful especially on maps where there are many ambush areas and places to hide. The only downside is that you need to make sure that you can get your second hive up and get crags up A…

I fully agree with wiry. I played NS1 competitively and always tried to better myself and compete with the best. This allowed me to go from lower level teams to top tier teams. Yes, I made very good friends in the teams I was previously in, but t…

Definitely excited for the remainder of the games. Good luck to all of the teams!

I really hope that they do implement and find a way for Sabot to work properly. If they can I feel as though it'll be a great addition, if not ehh... that would suck.

I'm actually having an awesome time playing in the tournament. It is always more fun playing whenever there are prizes. Good luck to the final 12 teams!

Oh yeah, Xmenu, the most irritating part of ns1 combat, i'm so glad we're bringing that back. *Thumbs up* </sarcasm>

It can be very different going from being good in pubs to becoming good in competitive (or gather) play. You need to be aware of your surroundings and know that most people will be getting ready to ambush or sneak up behind, they won't be making as…

A lot of us usually use TS3/Mumbles/Vent to talk with other peoples on the server since we sometimes play together.
