(Quote) Same thing applies with the seamoth bumping into a piece of coral and the prawn suit slamming into the ground like a metal boulder after falling 2 centimeters off a rock.

That's neat, but it's still just another tool like the air pump, light stick, and grab trap that I mess around with for 5 minutes and throw in the back of a storage locker and never touch again.
^ all of those items need some upgrades or… -
After a "flood", the base will go dark until you fuck around with it a bunch by removing reinforcements and putting them back and a bunch of other bs. Just mess around with it until the hull integrity is restored again.

Trying to explore the underwater islands/mountains is just a cycle of getting in and out of your seamoth over and over again to repair it whilst blasting bonesharks away every with the propulsion cannon every couple of seconds.

I still can't tell what it actually does. Maybe a piece of lithium should be thrown into the recipe and the upgrade should like.. reduce overall damage taken from ramming into stuff and getting ripped apart by sea creatures do 15% less damage per re…

oh my god that's awesome

(Quote) That was never said. I think it was even planned to be added in an update shortly after the final release.

Maybe they had the fabricator blueprint for it lol

(Quote) i don't wanna be mean but like
those are all terrible, terrible ideas -
I've seen those weird looking rock/barnacle things.
it bothers me so fucking much that i can't mine them with the prawn suit -

This'd be cool. I think that it should also be used for backup power.

(Quote) He means that the player should be able to build floating foundations suspended in the water for whatever reason.
Anyways, this'd seem kind of odd to me. I don't really see much purpose in it, either. -
Yeah, the game has a tendency to crash in some situations. Make sure to exit your vehicle before saving, and save frequently.
I have also experienced the prawn suit getting stuck in the cyclops bay, and remedied it by using commands to k… -
More cave systems would be cool. There's quite a few, but a couple more would be cool. To solve the redundancy issues, maybe we could have one with a natural moon pool that opens to a cave filled with breathable air and unique plant and animal life.

Interesting. Seems like a rather minor spoiler to me.

All my replies are bolded in your quote. I don't like most of these ideas. -
It's not fully implemented yet.

I think the game is finally running pretty nicely. I can actually get about 60 fps in areas of open water.
-
(Quote) Not a bug, just a bit of a design flaw.

I think that aesthetic value can outweigh realistic physics if enough suspension of disbelief is provided.

(Quote) There's no rise/fall of sea level, just lots of rain. Although tides would be a cool feature.

Wow, these were some cool ideas. It's a shame that the research system kinda got scrapped.
-
I think that the ship needs another redesign. There's no logical reason why you have to go through the prawn bay and cargo bay and such just to get to the crew quarters.
There should be more entrances to the aurora's interior that lead t… -
No. There's no easy way to say "oh no the lifepod was destroyed" and prevent the player from soft locking themselves without a fabricator.
-
They're working on improving the performance. And yeah, the alien bases have been pretty laggy.
-
I've never felt a need to be able to modify subnautica's terrain. It's just never felt like a necessary element of gameplay.
