Just checking back in to see if the new Castle & Coffee update fixed this bug or not before I reinstall it again?

Just checking in to see if anyone can tell me if this bug has been fixed or not before I go through installing the game again?

This would be a very nice addition, though I would also suggest the ability to download the compiled map from the scanner to the players pda so you a on the go reference, but still need to rtb in order to update the map with newly explored sectors.

Aye, that was around back when the bones update released.
What's more puzzling is multiple people reported both bugs that were present in the experimental update back before Bones ever launched, but they made it into the Bones upd… -

It's likely the Unity 5 engine your PC's graphics card is having trouble with. (How new is the card?)
Back when I used a Nvida 550 Ti I had similar heat issues to yours with any game that used the Unity 5 engine. (Planetary Explorers, 7… -
Aye that would work nicely, but whatever the fix, somthing does need to be done to give players at least some way to tell their location in the world so they don't spend hours retreading the same ground trying to find the area they haven't ex…

Aye, and for new players trying to manage not only batteries, but also food & water, that random wandering turns frustrating in a hurry. (Frustrating enough to make new players potentially give up on the game in the beginning and do a steam refu…

Aye, that was why I figured a map that is created as you explore would work, given it encourages you to explore on your own, it just lets you see where you've already been so you don't spend hours swimming over terrain you already have gone through …

So without maps, or some kind of coordinates how are new players supposed to find their way around and locate any of the wrecks? (I know without the wiki's coordinates I'd have never found a few of them before giving up and playing something else.)<…

I love this idea, though I would want there to be some kind of counter on the UI to show us the power level of the Seamoth every time we tank up on air from the pipe, given it sucks power with every breath and running out of energy while in the bell…

-Add in a day/night length slider option to the menu at the start of a new game. (I.e how long each day and night is in real world minutes, from a day/night lasting 10 mins up to 60ish?)

Along with day/night cycle aggression there should also be some reason for people to go out at night too, such as certain bio-luminescent plants that bloom after dark or otherwise rare species that come up from the depths to feed to encourage player…

It could also have been driven there against it's will. I'm sure at least some of you are familiar with Ophiocordyceps unilateralis? (The zombifying fungus that infects ants and houseflies and takes control of them.)
Now imagine an alien… -
I recall reading an older thread on the subject of random terrain generation, and the Devs mentioned how they tried it back during an early build and the random terrain failed to compare to the hand crafted zones the devs made so they discarded it.<…

Not that I've experienced, it persists (even through death) until you save and reload, then it's fine up until it happens again. -

My save game is a tad over 5 gigs in size, where exactly am I supposed to upload this for them to use? -
After some more experimentation I can say for certain the menu contrast bug is caused by docking the sea moth either in the moon pool or the Cyclops.

Ah, upgrading your pc seems like the only option left, (obviously) I'd suggest increasing your RAM to 16 gigs (if it's not there already) given the extra RAM will greatly help with the load speed of areas and hopefully correct your… -

I've ran into that as well at times, the best solution I've found is to lower your graphics settings bit by bit until it doesn't happen anymore. (There's also some extra bloom other graphics options you can toggle off/on in the f3 … -
It's also worth it to bring along a dive reel, or multiple beacons to trace your route down there, since finding your way back out can prove somewhat problematic the first couple trips. (It's easy to get turned around on your trip out and wind back …

I've reported this same bug in another thread here: http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/comment/2318745/#Comment_2318745(Quote)
