I think they're making tabs for the blueprint section of the PDA. Items you can make would be sorted by the station you can make them on.

They fixed the giant resource nodes before the last build, but apparently the 'breaking' effects on them (or limestone at least) is still borked :P

That folder holds a copy of ALL the terrain data for saves since terrain is voxel and subject to change under certain conditions (like crashing the Cyclops full-speed into a rock face), FYI. It seems that the game first loads fresh terrain from game…

You're proposing a radical change to the current system that they've been refining for many months now. Solar panels really don't produce that much power in real life; take a look at the massive arrays on the ISS and the comparatively small size of its modules and you'll be glad Subnautica's panels produce as much power as they do. Right now I feel like cyclops/seamoth fragments are set up pretty nice. As said above the Exosuit is going to be able to interact with the environment, such as picking up quartz. The texture is the texture for shelf corals so it's probably a placeholder mesh, probably an object left in from before the farming update.
