Wow, this is great thing. I am planning to convert some geometry to Props for better performance and this one just comes in really handy.
-
Nope it was already mentioned in the press release coming along with the PAX presentation.
-
Of course, slowly but steadily. But since the map got approved for Combat all the new changes are now secret

As far as I know, the static meshes can be exported from any version of anything, you just need to export to Collada format and fiddle the file a bit with text editor. There is even a tutorial how to export from Blender. The proble… -
I think the Combat is not going to hurt NS2 playerbase at all. From my personal experience, I know about at least 5 people who bought NS2 (on my advice), but never installed or played it intesively. They were discouraged by the complexity of the gam…

Yep, that is a workaround I have figured out too. But keeping 3 copies of one map - master, low light, high light is inconvenient and should be better implemented. As Loki said its better to bother with low lights as the last thing.

But in Editor both lights actually illuminate the scene right? Thats quite inconvenient. Arent you considering to add low light switch also to editor ?

That really looks funky. Frankly I cannot give you any advice on this, but I am sure that Howser had dabbled with shaders within Spark from all of us the most. Unfortunately he reported that shader implementation in NS2 is pretty shady.

Thanks for nice concepts guys! Maybe it looks that nothing is going on, but at the moment me and Loki we are finishing our main projects (Core, Kodiak), meanwhile we are also actively discussing all your proposals.
We also have some idea… -

Well, and then what will then set apart this map from Summit? And do we need another?

I will be a bit nitpicker, but that grate ceiling platform feels a bit floating in the air, but apart of that, great work (as usualAhh, we have got the loading screen!(Quote)
Care for a little cooperation? Got an idea where to take it further
Wow, nice. Would love to carry on this project, if the time would not be the constrainYeah theese details really sets apart great maps from astonishing mapsDude, those are old screenshots before UWE took overWeee, welcome back! I definitively liked your version of Eclipse more, its so clean and pureIts niceJust if UDK will be as convenient as SparkWell, except some new bugs and crashes the Spark Editor is still pretty same since release. Only the new Check hole tool is something I haven't still figure out.(Quote)
Got recently problems with publishing too. The publisher does not update the .modinfo, it does update all the other files though, but the information still appears as old version. Strange.
Eyyy that last screenshot (with blue corridor) is EPIC. Its soo Braw!Just updated the co_Core. With the completely new Marine Spawn (still WIP though). Everyone had probably already seen the pictures of new MS in the screenshots topic, so no screens this time, go and see it for yourself :-P
Also I had to …Well, if you are in the mood I have just published a co_Core update, so you can give it a go. Unfortunately I cant make it to the playtest atmI think Combat Standalone is pretty sure thing. All the rumors and Flayra hinting at NS2WC cement it
Congratulation g…Wicked!I am sure, you will get hang of it soon and start cranking top notch environments. Lighting is already goodArrggh, damm you Warren Spector !
