hated it during free weekend. After players who knew how to play ns2 became the majority after free weekend, ive grown to like it.

depends . might give you that extra 5 res for a new node elsewhere that marines are controlling. That extra res can also go to things like phase gates etc.

turn texture streaming off. the lag jump is because the server will render some textures when entering new rooms instead of your pc, it's suppose to help server load time. No reason to use it unless you have slow HDD.

i have noticed crashes as well. its about a 50/50 chance when i first start ns2 that it will crash when loading into a server, after i successfully join first server tough the crashes seem to cease till i completely exit the game and restart again.

more server need this i only have 2 games statted up
and they were very. very sexy games. -
i can outrun ground skulks if i drop my rifle and pistol course a lot of that is cuz i move smooth as butter all up and down those dark hallways mmmmmmm

dont notice input lag here. 144hz 1ms asus monitor with a 1ghz polling rate razer deathadder. Did notice i had difficulty aiming, tracking in particular, with my previous monitor, at least compared to this one now, that might have been monitor-based…

I remember on the 1055t i had that ran 2.8ghz it was real rough trying to play this game in 760p, all low settings, gtx 560, 40fps with some dips. Put the same gtx 560 on a new 3770k build and now i can go all the way up to 1600x90… -

yeah im sick and tired of those hit and run marines climbing up the walls and through the vents then jumping down on my fragile little skulk head when i least expect it. Please buff the skulk they keep getting me.
