Reapers are my favorite for their speed. Reefbacks are kind of lazy. Should probably try the Dragon also.

I agree! It's beautiful. But it's also horrifying. And that's part of the awesomeness of this game. -
You mean like the Safe Shallows where you spawn?

Couldn't agree more! Been playing this game for a year now and its been going to the right direction with every update. Gifting copies is a good idea! I think I'll gift some for my friends on their upcoming birthdays.

Don't know about the Cyclops, but I've fixed my Seamoth plenty of times when it's docked in the Moon Pool. -

Currents and air pockets seem like an interesting idea.

I experienced something similar about a year ago: the Reaper pushed my Cyclops from below so hard that at some point I was mid-air with my Cyclops.
-
Was gonna suggest the same thing myself before I saw this thread.
I thought maybe it could be implemented as a feature/upgrade to a camera bot, so the scan would originate from the camera bot wherever its located. -
I agree. The Reaper is after all, a massive predator, and therefore a territory of a single Reaper should be way larger than it is now.
I'd rather have fewer, unpredictable and migrating Reapers, than many predictable Reapers tied to cer… -
I think having creatures capable of living on land and sea is a good idea; cave crawlers are such already. If Jumpers could also walk on land (and would, for some specific purpose) it would make an interesting research object, whenever that becomes …

And if that won't get you enough lovely windows, then it's off to the Grand Reef, which contains even more quartz. Just need a couple of depth upgrades to your Seamoth or Cyclops. -

I was wondering the same thing when I started a new Survival Game just now. Not sure but I think those sounds appeared after the Aurora blew up, so it could be some after explosions too. Or it might be a half-implemented weather ef… -

Aye. Deep places are currently too well lit in my opinion. -

Man I could live in my Cyclops through the whole game if I could build a network of stationary charging posts around the map. Your design is practical and most "Subnautical" I've seen so far, even without the textures. -
Yep. It's a great vehicle if you like to gather large loads of materials. I usually scout ahead with the Seamoth for a place with a lot of materials I need, place a beacon, and then bring the Cyclops in with lots of big lockers in it.

I don't mind a little disorientation. The world as it is now is very easy to navigate, so I would welcome a little challenge. -
I agree with you on the part that the Aurora, it's central computer and other facilities could play a more interesting role in the game. Especially when it comes to technology.
It's odd that the only way of getting tech upgrades is to sc… -
A safe place to get some silver: the two southernmost Kelp Forest zones. I've never met a stalker or a bleeder out there. Decent amount of sandstone nodes too. Hope the picture works for you. in Best way to find silver? Comment by Reefseeker September 2015

I know, but are you sure the creatures actually breed in-game, or is there merely a certain amount of babyfishies in the beginning of the game? -
Ecosystem-mechanics that also respond to player/creature actions. The possibility for the player to affect the populations of different creatures (in other ways than killing them to extinction). The possibility for creatures to breed.

If you like Early Access gaming, this game is one of a kind. -

I might, in the future when/if they become edible or an irreplaceable source of some material. But primarily I like the ocean with more creatures in it. I play survival and it does get very boring if you don't have any challenges (… -

Not at all. I would rather deter, stun, anesthetize, scare or knock out (etc.) the dangerous predators away. There's plenty of things to do between killing it and doing nothing. And I do believe those things could work very well. -
I will hazard a translation attempt:
The radiation from the Aurora should spread at some rate, until the dark matter reactor has been fixed.
This has been suggested before, and might actually make an interesting challen… -

What an innovative design. Is that middle section a ready-room of sorts? It could be. -

Nothing.
Looking at how the game has been developed so far, I think the developers seem to have a well-founded and clear vision regarding self-defense/weaponry.
If something, I'd suggest that the devs keep u… -
Looks plain awesome, and seems sufficiently sci-fi.
Horrible driving though -

This is a lovely idea, I hope they implement a growth mechanism for flora.
Here's the poop btw:

Seeing that ONE of the main things is to go deeper and explore the sea, I'd say yes. If we're going deeper, it's only reasonable that there are things that move the plot forward, and other things like tech and gadgets too.
