What if spores were replaced with some sort of corrosive cloud? Similar to bile bomb, where it does a massive DoT to Armor.

Youre probably much better than me, but im speaking from the particular situation i was in. It wasnt one onos, we had 4 at one point go in with 2-3 gorges healing (which other people are telling me im not supposed to do?) and bilin… -
Regardless of the reason onos are dying, they don't have enough health to get things done. They charge through a damage filled corridor, get in a couple smashes on whatever structure is blocking the doorway, then retreat. If crags were unnerfed, thi…

Im probably one of those noobs, and heres the thing: I cant effectively bile the enemy base when the marines are turtling, period. Im not completely sure if im missing something, but its just not happening.

As a noob i tried to provide my feedback for the balance mod in the thread, but nobody responded. Maybe sewlek listened, but i wouldnt know. I was largely ignored.

I wouldnt mind a purely cosmetic progression system. I wouldnt enjoy it, but i wouldnt mind it either.

This happened today. Just had to leave the game, it was taking too long.
I think what hurts the most is that if you gave the aliens 2-3 Grenade launchers, this would be no problem. GLs are so fucking amazing for taking out structures, bu… -
If rifle bash gets buffed, you need to remove the sprint+jump thing most marines having going on when an alien tries to bit them.

In my experience, the vents are always there, just hard to find if youre unfamiliar.

What if Flamethrowers were nerfed to do less damage to players, but now get an "airblast" mechanic that applies a knockback blast on M2. It would fit the support role of flamers by helping your teammates position themselves away from the aliens. If …Tf2 thrived off of competitive play lmfao. That's why any server you drop into has more pyros than demos at any given moment.Didn't watch the whole thing, but dat round 4jetpack gl all in failing by the skin of their teeth. It was fucking intense.Sprint allows marines to run to the action quicker, but be slow once they get there, much like bunnyhopping. Its not much, but giving players something to do during the downtime of running to the action make the game more engaging, and allowing play…So strafe jumping retains speed only (and gives a little), jumping normally doesnt?(Quote)

Every change has been discussed here. I…different levels of aura should upgrade the range you can see marines at. Right now it just seems way too good. But then again, i dont think id ever pass up carapace for it.I dont know how it is in NS2, but in tf2, the spread in 32 player servers tends to actually be above the average skill level. In my favorite 32 player server, I can point out 1-2 competitive players in there at any given time. I used to play with so…Co-op NS2 would be really cool. Would probably have to slow aliens down, but let them have abilities like leap and shadowstep to keep combat fun.
At times, the game creates the feeling of a really great aliens game on its own. Itd be nic…1. performance

3. matchmaking
4. polishObviously, but that wasnt my point, was it?24 players is a great server size. People like it because its the best balance of not having too many players so you get lost in the crowd, and having enough players so you personally wont be the reason your team lost (also, your team is less likely…I mean HA as an alternative to JP, but there is already something like that on Onos iirc.(Quote)
Some ideas for upgrades:
1. bullets go through aliens and/or thin walls
2. "smart" reload system (similar to gears of war)
3. increased knockback on rifle butts and/or bullets
4. decreased spread on rifle/sh…(Quote)
I dont think they wont do it, i just dont want to be spending all my time welding and building structures.
Plus, this isnt teamwork in the way that people enjoy. It's just creating an road block that your team mate need…This may just be me, but i feel like teamwork should be reserved for making plays, and carrying out strategies. Not as a bottleneck for the action.Rewarding and fun are not necessarily the same thing.(Quote)
